Introduction!

 Hello, my name is Kylee Colbert! I am 23 years old and currently live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am majoring in psychology but I'm not sure what I want to minor in yet. I've been attending UAF online for a while now and hope to be able to attend classes on campus in the future. I am pretty crafty and like to stay home to do all sorts of activities to keep my hands and mind busy, and am currently trying to get into crochet. One day I hope to live on my own little farm with my medium sized family, and I would like to become an expert at herbal medicine with my own garden and apothecary.

                                                            

My relationship with art is still very beginner. I've found myself caught up in the 9-5 work lifestyle, and barely have time or energy for creating art anymore, but I do love art and its many forms. I've tried a few different art form like painting, drawing with pencil and charcoal or ink, and even pottery. What I really enjoy is taking different art classes that help further my techniques. I love art but I don't know much about the lifestyle, only that it comes semi-natural to me. I took a beginner drawing class where the main thing we used was charcoal and I learned so much about drawing, and that class gave me an even bigger urge to learn new methods! This semester, I hope to be able to engage with other's blogs and learn more about everyone and what they can teach me about art, and maybe I'll come across new methods that I can try out myself!
